Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 30, 2015, Cytori Therapeutics, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”) announced that John Townsend will resign his position as Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Townsend will continue until August 15, 2015 in order to assist the Company in the transition of his responsibilities. Tiago Girão, the Company’s Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, will serve in the interim as principal accounting officer until the Board of Directors of the Company appoints a successor.
